The Criminal College decided to uphold the decision given by the Special Appeal on July 15, 2024 for former judge Guxim Zenelaj. The second instance of the judiciary passed in favor of the state a land area of ??1000 m2 in Porto Palermo, Himara-Vlora, as well as 6 real estate properties on Shëngjin Island-Lezha.

Among the confiscated assets are two basements with areas of 16 m2 and 15 m2, a unit with an area of ??218 m2 and three apartments with areas of approximately 60 m2, 67 m2 and 51 m2.

The confiscated assets were found to be unjustified by the former Supreme Court judge. In June 2025, the Court of Appeal sentenced Zenelaj to 100 hours of community service, reversing the decision of the GJKKO that sentenced him to 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "false declaration of assets."
