54-year-old Sokol Bajgora, from the village of Baltez i Fier, from the premises of the regional hospital where he is to receive medical assistance, tells the horror he experienced in the early hours of this morning as three armed and masked persons entered his apartment to steal.

He says that he was alone at home at the time of the incident. After the thieves entered the apartment, they assaulted him, but failed to take anything.

According to Bajgora, the lack of electricity made the situation even more difficult. He says that the thieves hit him several times in the head with the butt of the gun.

"As I was asleep, I heard a noise, but I heard that these animals, I don't keep cats at home, and I said, "Where did this cat come from, that my buffet plates fell. When I got up, the noise came again, but they had knocked on the door at the back of the house and broke the glass, and it was the key inside that locked the door. The moment I leave the bedroom, without reaching the door, they came with electric guns, three people went inside, in a row, one with the other. They directly said the money. I have no money, I said. I was hit with a machine gun right here. Then the three of them put me down, put in and out, lek. I have no money, I told him. Put it in. They shot me more than 5-6 times in the head with the butt of the pistol. As they wanted to shut me up with those Scots. They wanted to tie my feet and hands. I as I was then covered in blood with a word, fighting lying there, falling, screaming loudly. After about 4 minutes, that double bed was returned to me and they left me under the bed. He seemed to care that I didn't get up. I slowly moved. I could not orient myself because the lights had been turned off. I was alone because I had taken my son and daughter-in-law to Sweden with my daughter. I was barely oriented, touching the wall because I was without lights, without illumination. I grab the shutter, I take it up, I barely opened the window, I got out of the window. I have the wall surrounding the house, I jump to my brother. I knocked there, no one came out because I said the brother wasn't there, but he was at work. I didn't know he was at work. I go to my brother's gate, I go to the other brother, I knock on the door, I suffer a little from the kidneys and he told me, the kidneys. No, I told him, look what they did to me. Then I said take the police, because I didn't know where they had thrown my phone. The police came and escorted me here in the ambulance," he said.

The 54-year-old is now in the regional hospital of Fier. He received the biggest damage to his face. Meanwhile, the police have escorted several people in connection with this incident, but so far no arrests have been made.
