For the weekend we are waiting for, it seems that our country will experience as a scorching day, but at the same time from the middle of the week come and the long-awaited days with falling temperatures.

This way, sunny weather is forecast for Monday and Tuesday across the territory as well as extremely high temperatures mainly across the western lowland (the last days of the heat wave), according to the Military Meteorological Service.

Then for Wednesday and Thursday, a low pressure center of northern origin is expected over the country's territory. This way the weather for most of these two days is predicted with sunshine but also with transitional killing alternations. The late evening of Wednesday and early morning hours of Thursday will be accompanied by occasional rainfall and low intensities. Due to cold air masses of northern origin, significant drop in temperatures mainly in minimum values but also those of noon (see chart attached).

The week closes with Friday and stable weather conditions as the penetration of the Azores' Anticyclone and Africans begins. The weather is forecast clear throughout the territory as well as fairly cool temperatures at minimum and normal values at noon.
