It has been decided to postpone the hearing for the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who is accused by SPAK of "abuse of duty" in the case of the privatization of the former Partizani sports complex.
The decision was taken after the request of Berisha's lawyers to get acquainted with the acts of the prosecution.
A few moments ago, Berisha's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj announced that he had asked for more time to familiarize himself with SPAK's voluminous file.
Gjokutaj also announced that he has reported to SPAK the judge Irena Gjoka, as well as requested her exclusion from the process, as according to him, she abused her duty.
"On the part of Mr. Berisha today, a report was made to SPAK against the judge of the case for violation of the Constitution. We requested the dismissal of judge Irena Gjoka and submitted the request. We are waiting for the decision on the review of the request for her exclusion.
We don't come here to be given 2-3 hours for 20 thousand pages. We are for an orderly process. He authorized us with a special power of attorney and the court accepted it", said Gjokutaj.
