The suspect in the murder on the Fushë Krujë-Mamurras road, Andi Vokrri, has been questioned to clarify the dynamics of the incident and the murder of 57-year-old Petrit Ndou.
According to the 28-year-old, they only argued about passing and the cars rubbing against each other.
The perpetrator was found to be drunk at the wheel and was in the car with two other people. After the cars collided, they initially drove away, but then returned to catch up.
An eyewitness at the scene was the wife of the victim, Petrit Ndou, who recounted the entire dynamic and that her husband was hit with a hammer by the young man.
The other people in the car testified that they tried to stop him, but the suspected perpetrator fled on his own with the hammer in his hand. He only hit him once in the head with the hammer and Ndou died.
As material evidence, the police found the hammer, which is suspected to have been used in the incident.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old stated at the police station that "I didn't want to kill him, it was a momentary conflict and the situation got out of my control."
