Caught after car accident, young man hits 50-year-old man in the head with a hammer, causing his death

A serious criminal incident occurred during the early hours of the morning on the Krujë-Mamurras road axis, where a conflict between two drivers ended in loss of life. At around 01:00 in the morning, two vehicles are suspected of having collided, which led to an escalation of the situation between their drivers.

According to preliminary data, after the collision, a physical conflict began between the parties. As a result, Petrit Ndou, about 50 years old, a resident of Puka, was killed. The victim suffered a serious head wound, while a hammer was also found at the scene, which is suspected to have been used during the conflict.

Police sources indicate that the suspected perpetrator is a 28-year-old man with the initials AV, a resident of Mamurras. The latter is suspected of having hit the victim in the head with a hammer, causing fatal injuries.

The 28-year-old was immediately escorted by blue uniforms and is being questioned by the investigation team. In parallel, the police are collecting eyewitness testimonies and analyzing material evidence to fully clarify the circumstances and motives of the incident.

Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are expected to provide more details in the future.
