The causes of the suicide of the high school student in Gjirokastra still remain a mystery. In order to uncover the truth, the prosecution is committed to obtaining information from people close to Irsa Muçollari.

On Thursday, over 20 people were questioned to shed light on the reasons that led the 17-year-old to commit the extreme act.

Suspicions that the minor girl had left a letter saying she was being bullied by her school friends have not yet been confirmed.

Even in the statements made to judicial police officers, teachers and classmates did not admit that Irsa was being bullied at school.

Investigators have discovered that the 17-year-old, on the day of the incident, was at church and then headed home.

A few hours later, she was found by her parents who had hanged themselves in their home. Although the first aid provided at the Gjirokastra hospital was prompt, doctors were unable to save her life.

Sources from the prosecution say that the testimonies of her two friends are expected to be taken, which may shed light on new circumstances and additional details. So far, there is no official version based on evidence for the reasons that led to the young woman's suicide.

Meanwhile, at the "Siri Shapllo" high school, where Irsa Muçollari taught, an order has been given for students not to contact the media.
