Three officials from North Macedonia, MP and coordinator of the VLEN parliamentary group Bekim Qoku, MP Adnan Azizi, and Deputy Secretary General of the Government, Hasim Murtezani, claim that today they have been faced with a ban on entry into Albania.
Sources from the Qafë Thana border crossing on the Albanian side informed Euronews Albania that there was no incident or ban on entering Albanian territory for the three officials from North Macedonia.
Border and migration officials in southeastern Albania add that the three officials were traveling with a fourth citizen, who had passport problems and could not enter the Republic of Albania.
The other three officials could have passed freely, but they preferred to turn back and not cross the border, the response states.
