The Ministry of Education publishes the calendar, here's when the new 2026-2027 school year will begin!

The Ministry of Education has published the official calendar for the 2026-2027 school year , determining the dates of the start and end of the teaching process, as well as vacation periods and the conduct of national exams.

According to the approved calendar, the new school year will begin on September 14, 2026 , when students will return to school after the summer holidays.

For high school students, the learning process will end on June 4, 2027 , in order to prepare for and conduct the State Matura Exam.

Meanwhile, for all other students, the school year will officially end on June 18, 2027.

The Ministry of Education informs that the calendar also includes the organization of the teaching process throughout the year, school holiday periods, as well as deadlines for the development of national exams.
