From October 2, the electronic registration for the American lottery DV-2026 has started. Even in the city of Pogradec, according to the information received at the points that offer the application service for the American lottery, the interest to apply has been high. However, what is noticeable is that this year the number of applications has been lower compared to previous years.

According to "Pogradeci Sot", one of the influencing factors is the departure of the population from the country, a phenomenon which the city of Pogradeci has not escaped. The age group that has applied the most to become part of the DV-2026 lottery is the one from 18 to 35 years old. So young people are the ones who are more willing to try their luck to be selected and get a visa to the United States of America.

The application process went smoothly and no problems were encountered. This application in the centers that offer this service is made against a payment, while for all those who apply themselves, registration for the lottery is free.

The registration process will continue until November 5, 2024. It is very important to save the unique confirmation number given during registration, as it will be used to check the applicant's status on the official E-DV website.

Pogradec is one of the few Albanian cities already part of a superstition that the American Lottery falls more often than in other countries. There have been many cases in the past when residents of other cities went to Pogradec to complete the lottery.
