Other details have emerged regarding the explosion of the bomb in Istanbul, which killed 6 people and injured at least 81 others.

The Minister of Justice of Turkey, Bekir Bozdag, has revealed the details of the attack in Taksim Square and according to him everything was planned.

As he explained, the woman who allegedly detonated the bomb sat on a bench, waited 45 minutes before getting up, and then the bomb exploded.

"A woman sits on a bench for about 45 minutes and the explosion happens right after she gets up," said the Turkish Justice Minister, calling on citizens not to rely on provocative and untrue news. "A lot of provocative news is circulating. It is beneficial for citizens not to rely on non-existent news that is intended to deceive. The Istanbul General Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation. The authors of this event are of course responsible. This is an attack against the credibility, peace and unity of Turkey," he said.

"There are two versions. Either this bag has a device in it and it explodes on its own or someone remotely detonates it. All this is currently being analyzed", the minister emphasized.

"This is a specially chosen area. There are "aliens", who may have wanted to send a message to the world. Turkey is a powerful country. Turkey is now a country that continues the fight against terrorism outside its borders. It is not possible to stop Turkey's progress", he added saying that "France, USA and Germany support PKK/YPG terrorists. They give them weapons. Turkey is not only fighting against the PKK, FETO and DAESH, but also against the countries that started against us. Otherwise, 3-5 terrorists are not a problem for us. We should not distinguish between foreign and domestic terrorists."
