The British media outlet Daily Mail has paid attention to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's sneakers during the NATO Summit in The Hague, where he appeared in a pair of white sneakers, in stark contrast to the formal suits of other world leaders.

In the article, the Daily Mail writes that Rama was easily distinguished in official photos of the summit due to his appearance, while in one of the images he is seen standing next to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, wearing white sneakers, writes A2 CNN.

The Daily Mail further writes that his white sneakers have prompted numerous reactions on social media.

"Some users on X praised Rama's appearance, while others called it inappropriate for a high-level diplomatic event," the newspaper writes.

This is not the first time Rama has chosen to wear sneakers to official events. In 2023, he was photographed wearing similar attire at the European Political Community Summit at Blenheim Palace, between Zelensky and Keir Starmer.

Meanwhile, the NATO summit ended on Wednesday with a joint statement from 32 member countries, who agreed to invest up to 5% of GDP on defense by 2035. Although some countries, such as Spain, have stated that they cannot meet this target
