The next hearing for the defendants in the "Golden Bullet" case was accompanied by strong tensions between lawyers and prosecutors, culminating in some of the lawyers leaving the courtroom.
At Thursday's session, lawyers were to ask questions to the repentant Erion Alibej.
The lawyers, for their part, requested that 6 statements from Alibey, which they do not possess, be made available to them.
The request was rejected by prosecutors, who claimed that the statements in question did not pertain to this case, but to other criminal facts.
The entire debate was accompanied by loud voices and after verbal clashes with prosecutor Behar Dibra, 4 of the lawyers left the courtroom and at the same time the defendants also left.
After the situation arose, the court suspended the session and imposed a fine of 30 thousand lek on the 4 lawyers.
