The identity of the 26-year-old Albanian man who was shot dead by an Italian businessman after he attempted to rob his apartment in collaboration with two other compatriots has been revealed.
Rivaldo Rusi , a member of the Albanian gang who had attempted to rob the villa in Centola, was found buried several kilometers from the businessman's property.
Meanwhile, the circumstances of the serious incident still remain a mystery, where one of the Albanian thieves was seriously injured by gunfire, while the other escaped.
The 60-year-old shot several times with a hunting rifle, killing Rivaldo Rusi, whose body he then hid, and seriously wounding another.
The dynamics of the exchange of fire, who fired first, and what the sequence of shots was are still unknown.
It is also unclear whether the businessman acted alone or was assisted by someone in hiding the body of the murdered thief.
The first data may come from the autopsy on the body of 26-year-old Rivaldo Rusi.
The other thief injured during the robbery by the 60-year-old, who is hospitalized in serious condition at the Cardarelli Hospital in Naples, was arrested.
Investigators have discovered that he has a criminal record and was on the run for criminal offenses committed in Tuscany.
When his health improves, the Albanian will be questioned to tell his version of what happened Sunday evening at the businessman's villa.
It was the entrepreneur himself, Aurelio Valiante, who discovered the place where he had hidden Rivaldo Rusi's body.
He found himself surrounded in his home by about 50 Albanians from the province of Caserta, including relatives and friends of the dead and injured young man, who wanted revenge.
The businessman appeared at the Prosecutor's Office with his lawyer, Antonello Natale. During questioning, he admitted that he had shot the 26-year-old with a firearm and then hidden his body.
Aurelio Valiante, while the other thief lay on the ground seriously injured, allegedly transported the Albanian's body with a wine barrel placed in the car.
A few kilometers from his home, in an isolated area in the village of San Severino di Centola, he dug a hole and buried the 26-year-old's body.
And exactly at the location indicated by the businessman, the police found the body. At that moment, the victim's wife and mother-in-law were at the scene.
"He made a mistake," they said, adding, "But he shouldn't have died like that. He was buried like an animal. He left us a child without a father."
The entrepreneur is now being investigated for murder, grievous bodily harm and concealment of a corpse.
But the situation may change further when the dynamics of the event become clear.
Investigators must determine whether the robbers were hit in the front, during a fight or while trying to flee.
