A serious accident resulting in one dead and one injured occurred near a gas station on the Vlora-Fier National Road, where a Piaggio motorcycle with license plate AK653 lost control.

As a result, the motorcycle went off the road and collided with an electric pole and a wooden pole.

There were two people in the vehicle, one of whom died, while the other is in hospital in serious condition.

The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Luan Llano, while the injured person is Tomorr Brati.

The police and authorities are continuing the investigations to fully clarify the causes of the accident.
