A 57-year-old man was found killed with a firearm today in Tale, Lezha. The serious crime took place in the yard of his apartment and the main motive is suspected to be blood feuds.
The victim has been identified as citizen Pjetër Kaza, a resident of Tale. Family members found the body shot with a firearm inside his vehicle that he was parking in the courtyard of the apartment. The police informed that the body was found by the victim's wife around 05:00 this morning, a few moments after he had returned from the night shift, after working at the Spac mine, in Mirdita.
The perpetrators allegedly ambushed him near the apartment and waited for him to return, shooting him. The local police started investigations and informed that the dynamics and circumstances still remain unclear, as there are also several investigative leads. But the main clue remains revenge, as a year ago it was learned that Kaza's brother had also been killed in Belgium.
The saga of revenge between the Kaza tribe and Gjini began three decades ago, in 1994, with the murder of the chief of Police Crimes Ndue Kaza by the brothers Dod and Agustin Gjini. The latter were executed in 1997 by Martin Kaza, who was arrested in London and then sentenced to imprisonment.
While last year, Agustin Kaza, the brother of Pjetër Kaza, who was killed today, was also executed in Belgium with four bullets.
