New details have emerged regarding the incident that occurred yesterday evening in Durrës, in the Fllaka area, near the border with Shënavlash, where a 36-year-old man was shot with a firearm.

The injured man, Arbër Goreja, explained that he had been traveling when a white Ford car followed him and stopped parallel to his vehicle. After stopping, the vehicle opened fire, shooting him in the body. According to his statement, he received three bullets, while one hit him in the ribs.

Arbër Goreja stressed that he does not know the perpetrators of the attack and assured that there was no conflict with other people. He added that he thinks he may have been mistaken for someone else.

"I was coming to Durrës and a white Ford car with a trunk approached me. While I was walking, the vehicle came alongside me and shot me three times with a pistol. I was hit by a bullet in the rib. At first I didn't understand the shock and then the pain started. The car followed me for a few meters and then stopped. I don't know the perpetrators. I have no past conflicts with other people. Maybe they confused me with someone else," said Arbër Goreja.

The police have launched investigations to fully uncover the incident and identify the possible perpetrators.
