Intense day in Tirana, 10 arrested, 6 prosecuted and 3 wanted for various crimes

A total of 10 people have been arrested during the last 24 hours in Tirana for various crimes such as robbery with violence, stalking, theft, drug possession and drunk driving.

The police also inform that six people have been referred to the prosecutor's office, while three have been declared wanted.

Specialists for the Investigation of Narcotics arrested the citizens:
•VK, 29 years old, and LK, 28 years old, after during their physical checks, the services of Police Station No. 1 found a quantity of suspected narcotics, cocaine and cannabis;
•A. Gj., 36 years old, after during the control of the vehicle by the services of Police Station No. 5, he tried to throw a quantity of suspected narcotic substance, cannabis, from the window of the vehicle.

The Section for the Investigation of Cybercrimes referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceeding began in a free state for the citizen ASH, 45 years old, as it is suspected that he stalked a 28-year-old woman through phone calls/messages.

The Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes detained the Italian foreign citizen, MC, 56 years old, after the Court of Tirana has assigned the security measure "Prison arrest", for the criminal offense "Creation of fraudulent schemes related to value added tax".

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Police Station No. 2:
•arrested the citizen DH, 32 years old, with the duty of engineer of a construction firm, and declared wanted the citizens EK, 34 years old, with the duty of administrator of the firm, and RJ, 75 years old, with the duty of technical manager, as it is suspected that as a result of the violation of the rules of protection at work, Yesterday, the foreign citizen VN, 47 years old, fell from the height of a building under construction, who lost his life as a result. Work is underway to capture two wanted citizens;
• detained the wanted citizen BM, 36 years old, after the Court of Tirana sentenced him to 6 months in prison for the criminal offense "Theft";
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceeding began in a free state for the citizen AO, 25 years old, as it is suspected that in the premises of a hotel, in a drunken state, he threatened and punched a 22-year-old man;
•referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceeding began in a free state for the citizen EG, 33 years old, after he punched a 28-year-old man on "Pjetër Bogdani" street, in the premises of a bar, during a momentary conflict;
•referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceeding began in a free state for the citizens LT, 60 years old, and AH, 66 years old, after they physically conflicted with each other on "Sulejman Delvina" street.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Police Station No. 3:
•arrested in flagrante delicto the citizens UG, 18 years old, SS, 20 years old, and RH, 38 years old, after citizens UG and SS, in cooperation with each other, tore the gold pendant of a citizen from the neck and then sold it in the store of the citizen RR;
• arrested the citizen AB, 24 years old, wanted for the criminal offense "Theft";
• referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceeding began in a free state for the citizen AM, 33 years old, after he physically conflicted with a 38-year-old man.

The Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Police Station No. 6 declared the citizen KG, 45 years old, wanted, after in Astir, for weak motives, he hit a 41-year-old man with a cutting tool on the leg, who is in the hospital, out of danger for life. Work is being done to capture him and clarify the circumstances of the case.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Krujë Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceeding began in a free state for the citizen:
•E. U., 41 years old, after punching a 62-year-old man for property reasons;
•V. Sh., 36 years old, with the duty of administrator of a scrap collection point, as it is suspected that as a result of violating the rules of protection at work, yesterday, his worker, citizen RK, 49 years old, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors, was injured during work, out of danger to life.

Road Traffic Specialists:
•arrested the MB citizen, 19 years old, after he was found driving a vehicle without a driving license;
• arrested the citizen DM, 48 years old, as it is suspected that he lost control of the vehicle he was driving, in a drunken state and without a driving license, and collided with another vehicle. Then the vehicle overturned on the road. The 48-year-old was injured by the collision, who is in the hospital, out of danger for life;
•arrested the citizen RK, 36 years old, as it is suspected that the vehicle he was driving, in a drunken state, collided with the vehicle driven by BT. Only material damage was caused by the collision;
• arrested the citizen EN, 38 years old, after he was found driving the vehicle in a drunken state and, in order to avoid further procedures, he tried to bribe the police officer.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
