A serious accident occurred this morning on the Levan-Tepelena road, where a 'KIA' vehicle collided with a 'Benz'.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the 'KIA' vehicle, a 39-year-old woman, died at the scene, and the driver of the 'Benz' and a passenger traveling with him were injured.

Meanwhile, the investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.

Police Announcement:

Fier / Preliminary information - Around 07:20, on the "Levan-Tepelena" road axis, citizen NA, about 39 years old, driving a "Kia" vehicle, was involved in a road accident with a "Benz" vehicle, driven by citizen PM.

As a result of the accident, citizen NA died at the scene, while citizen PM and the passenger in the "Benz" vehicle, citizen SR, are in hospital for medical assistance, out of danger to their lives.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
