Today, police officer Rezart Kuçi, currently head of the section at the scientific police in Kukës, was arrested and charged with 3 serious criminal offenses, including abuse of office, drug trafficking and participation in a structured criminal group.

Kuçi is accused by SPAK as part of Inez Hajrulla's group, which ordered two murders and is also accused of drug trafficking.

Also today, former police officer Hames Demushi was arrested, who is reported to have been arrested in Switzerland.

They recall that two sensational murders that shocked the country a few years ago have also been solved, due to criminal activities, in which the two former police officers were also involved.

Sources indicate that investigations so far have uncovered 2 murders and various drug trafficking episodes.

It is learned that the murder of Bledar Birçaj has been solved, an event that occurred in May 2021 when he was driving his BMW X5, when a hail of bullets suddenly opened on him. It is suspected that the incident occurred over a drug deal.

In the operation conducted in the city of Vlora this morning, the execution of Gentian Qarri, suspected of being carried out for criminal activities, was uncovered.

Two other citizens have been detained in Italy, one in Greece, and the last two are reported to be Ines Hajrulla and Ervis Hajrulla.

It is learned that these persons ordered the murder and executed citizen Gentjan Qarri, also known by the nickname "Gëçe", an event that occurred near the Orthodox Church Library, in the "29 Nëntotori" neighborhood, on February 6, 2021.

Special Forces have blocked the upper road in the Uji i Ftohtë area, behind the apartment blocks located there, preventing the passage of vehicles and pedestrians, while a drone supports the operation from the air.

The murder of Bledar Birçaj:

Bledar Birçaj, then 40 years old, was executed by gunfire on May 10, 2021 in the city of Vlora. The BMW X5 he was driving in was shot at by a Kalashnikov from another vehicle on the move in the area known as "Bishti i Kalldrëmit".

The 40-year-old, owner of the well-known Lungomare bar called "THE BOSS", was rushed to the hospital in the coastal city but unfortunately did not survive. The victim had been living in Spain for years, and when he came to Albania he fell victim to an assassination attempt. It is still not known who the people were who fired a barrage of bullets and caused the death of Bledar Birçaj.
