Albanian volleyball player makes history, wins Challenge Cup as MVP among Athens
Erblira Bici

Erblira Bici excelled in the European Volleyball Challenge Cup final against Panathinaikos to help Valefolja win the trophy.

After a hard-fought 3-2 victory in the first leg, the Italians completely dominated the return match 3-0 in a fiery atmosphere in Athens, lifting the European Cup for the first time. An extraordinary success story for a team that was created only 6 years ago.

Valefola won the sets with scores of 25-20, 27-25 and 25-16.

Bici, with her experience, was unstoppable, dominating the duels in the air and scoring the points that brought victory.

The Albanian volleyball player was also announced as the best of the "Challenge Cup" final. She has been part of Valefolja for 2 seasons, when she was transferred from Roma in 2024.
