Problems for Vinicius Jr, the Brazilian of Real Madrid who has ended up under the surveillance of FIFA, which has been alerted by a denunciation related to the purchase of football club quotas by a company, ALL Agenciamento Esportivo, an agency that would be under the control of the player's agent and his father, therefore directly linked to Vinicius himself. Which would have thus violated the Code of Ethics: still active in football, the Brazilian would have fallen into a clear conflict of interest, punishable by the regulation with up to two years of suspension. And the same action would have been committed in Spain, informing the Football Federation, which for its part has opened an investigation into the matter.

The situation that had until now escaped everyone's attention – including FIFA – was discovered by another company active in the co-ownership of football clubs, Tiberis Holding, which "collided" with ALL Agenciamento Esportivo when it wanted to buy the majority stake in Athletic Club de São João del Rei, a growing Brazilian reality that has achieved several climbs over the years. When it presented itself as the best bidder, it discovered that the company managed by Vinicius Senior and Thassillo Soares – Vinicius Jr's father and agent – ??had preceded it. And so it brought the matter before the Investigation Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee, requesting an investigation.

The reported violation is of a conflict of interest on the part of the Brazilian representative and Real Madrid star, which would have violated article 20 of the Code of Ethics in force, which emphasizes the impossibility of a still active registrant falling into a clear conflict of interest that – according to the law in force – “arises when a person bound by this code has, or appears to have, secondary interests that may affect his ability to exercise his duties with integrity, independence and determination.” And of course, the purchase of a football club is fully included in this case.

Thus, an investigation has been opened by FIFA, since the ownership of the agency in question – ALL Agenciamento Esportivo – could easily be linked to Vinicius Jr himself, due to the presence of his father and agent at the top of the management. Not only that: the Spanish Federation has also been involved in the case for violating article 22 of the sports justice code, according to which Vinicius would have violated ethical norms by purchasing – with the same procedure – shares of a Third Division club. The possible consequence, if the Brazilian's direct involvement were proven, is not at all insignificant: the agency would be stripped of all shares of the acquired football clubs (it currently turns out to be included in two different companies), and the player could be given a two-year suspension, in addition to a financial fine.
