The Albanian National Olympic Committee will hold its 31st General Assembly today, which corresponds to being an electoral assembly, as the 4-year mandate of the president and chairmanship has ended.

Fidel Ylli has re-nominated to be the head of the National Council of Kosovo (KOKSH), while he is the only candidate in the election.

This assembly, which starts at 4:00 PM, has been contested by several federations that are members of the Olympic Committee.

Initially, the football federation, then the school sports federation, and even the university sports federation have declared that they will not participate. This is due to clashes they have with the KOKSH for various reasons.
