David Coote will no longer referee in the Premier League. A video showing the referee insulting Liverpool and their former manager, Jurgen Klopp, has cost the 42-year-old a lot.

The English Football Association has sacked David Coote after an investigation launched last month found him guilty.

The Body Responsible for Judges in England issued an official statement announcing Coote's dismissal, after he had seriously breached his contract.

"Following the completion of a full investigation into David Coote's conduct, his employment with PGMOL has today been terminated with immediate effect. It has been determined that David Coote's actions were in serious breach of the terms of his employment contract and his position was deemed untenable," the statement said.
