Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have no intention of giving up on the Super League project, although such a gesture will certainly not go down well with officials and UEFA president Aleksander Ceferi. Recently, the three clubs have proposed a new format for the Super League by changing some of the rules that were widely opposed by many clubs.
In the new regulation proposed by the aforementioned clubs, the fact that the number of participants will now increase from 60 to 80 teams, while there will be different divisions, stands out.
Another change is related to the fact that no team will be considered founder and in this form each of them can fall or climb from the division, while regarding the number of matches, according to the forecast, they will not go more than 14 per season.
So, another step taken by Real, Barça and Juventus is related to the fact that the presidents of the clubs have already started contacts with their counterparts while so far they have contacted more than 50 clubs in an attempt to convince them to join in the European Super League.
