Igor Tudor, new Tottenham coach, could face Juventus in the Champions League

Igor Tudor returns to the bench. The former Juventus coach, who was sacked last October, has agreed a deal with Tottenham and will be the leader of Spurs, who have also just sacked Thomas Frank. Tudor has not been able to finish a season in a regular manner for a long time, but he always manages to quickly find another team. That's what happened now. Now he is ready to sign with Tottenham, who have once again decided to change coaches.

Tudor can challenge Juve in the Champions League

Tottenham won the Europa League last season, but had a terrible championship. With the Dane Frank, they started well, but at some point an unstoppable decline began in the Premier League and they sank in the standings, with only five points ahead of West Ham, third from the bottom. But in the Champions League they are directly in the 1/8th. And there Tudor could find Juve on his way.

It could really happen and it would be sensational. Juventus will face Galatasaray in the play-offs (February 16 first leg, 24 return). Whoever wins will find Liverpool or Tottenham in the 1/8. So a one in two chance, in case Juve qualify.

Tudor once again provisional

The deal between Tudor and Tottenham is a curious one, to say the least. Spurs didn't want a manager taken from the youth or the previous staff, but they failed to commit to one of the chosen ones for the future (Pochettino is the favorite, De Zerbi and Farioli the alternatives). Tudor is a suitable compromise and the Croatian is used to taking the lead in the middle of the road.

He has done it, in addition to Juventus, also with Lazio and Verona. And now he will do it with Tottenham, which once again changes coach in the middle of the season; neither Conte nor Mourinho managed to finish the season with Spurs. Thomas Frank lasted less than eight months.
