Tirana-Partizani derby postponed

The long-awaited capital derby between Partizan and Tirana will take place on a new schedule.

The Communication Department of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) has announced that the match valid for week 24 of the "Abissnet Superiore" championship will start at 16:30.

The match will be played on Sunday, at the "Air Albania" stadium, in a challenge that is expected to attract great attention from fans, as always when the two historical rivals of the capital face off.

According to the official announcement, the schedule change has been approved by the Leagues and Competitions Commission, causing the derby to be moved to this new time slot.

Partizani and Tirana come into this clash with clear championship objectives, while the derby has often shown that standings and current form have little importance when it comes to a match with such rivalry and history. The atmosphere at “Air Albania” is expected to be electrifying, with a stadium that could be packed for one of the most important challenges of the season.
