Super League schedule revealed: 64 teams, 3 leagues and all matches free on TV

A22 Sports, after the favorable decision of the European Court of Justice, restarts the Super League project, adapting it, after the protests of the fans and the departure of 10 of the 12 founding clubs in 2021:

"An open system with promotions and relegation and two stages: championship and final stage", can be seen in the video published on the official website. "Our proposal is based on sporting merit and ensures circulation between different leagues. The matches will be played in the middle of the week and the Superliga will be perfectly integrated with the national championships." While the matches will all be free, without payments on television platforms.

Super League Format: The Men's Super League will have 64 teams, divided into three leagues: Star, Gold and Blue. In the first and second leagues, Star and Gold, there will be 16 clubs divided into two groups of eight teams each; in the last one, the Blue League, there will be four groups of eight teams with a total of 32 clubs.

Regulation: The first part of the Super League will take place from September to April, with the return matches between teams from the same league: so 14 matches for each team. Next will be the final stages of the three leagues, which will be held separately, starting with the quarterfinals: the best four of both groups of the All-Star League qualify (for the final stage of the All-Star League) and the best four of the Golden League, in both groups of the Golden League (for the final stage of the Golden League); finally the top two from each Blue League group qualify (for the Blue League final stage).

The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played in a round-robin format, while the final – singles – will be played on a neutral court. Thus, three champions will be announced: the champions of the Star League, the Golden League and the Blue League.

The bottom two of the All-Star League will be relegated to the Golden League and no doubt the top two of the Golden League will be promoted to the All-Star League. The same applies to relegation and relegation from the Golden League to the Blue League: the bottom two are relegated and their place is taken by the top two of the last league.

Each year, 20 of the 32 Blue League teams will leave the Super League and be replaced by twenty teams, selected based on the results obtained in the national championships.
