The coach of the Albanian national football team, Silvinjo, received Albanian citizenship today by decree of the President of the Republic.

The "gift" was given directly to the leader of the Rossoneri in a festive event with the Albanian Football Federation.

While delivering his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama invited President Bajram Begaj and Silvinoj to the stage.

"Today, together with the president, we want to declare you an Albanian citizen", said Rama as Silvinjo went on stage.

"The president asked for the government's support, making a modest contribution today, by giving him a legal contract, I am making him a legal contract by legalizing him as an Albanian," added President Begaj.

After reading the decree, Rama handed it to Silvinho. The coach of the Reds and Blacks expressed his emotions and said that he is happy to contribute to Albanian sports.

In the end, Rama has announced that he will provide all the staff of the Albanian national team with diplomatic passports.
