Second stage of Giro D'Italia, British cyclist triumphs in Tirana

In a fast and tense race, Joshua Tarling (Ineos Grenadiers) triumphed in the second stage of the Giro d'Italia, a 13.7 km time trial that took place in Tirana.

The 21-year-old Briton recorded the fastest time, leaving behind his big rivals.

Tarling made perfect use of Tirana's flat and fast terrain, reaching an average speed of 56.671 km/h, an extraordinary achievement for such a race.

He has passed Bissegger by 13 seconds and Poga?ar by 18 seconds, two of the main favorites to win the race.
