New Everton manager David Moyes has spoken at a press conference ahead of his debut Premier League match this season. One of the topics asked by reporters was the condition of Armando Broja.
"I'm going to have another scan. There's still some swelling in the ankle and hopefully in the next few days we'll have a better idea of ??the extent of the damage. It feels a bit mixed, for a moment we thought it was nothing too serious, so we decided to have another scan," Moyes said.
It has been officially confirmed that Broja did not suffer a ruptured ligament or Achilles tendon, which would have been fatal for the Albanian striker.
As for the actual injury, it usually requires 2-6 weeks of recovery in the most normal cases, while the most complicated ones require 8-12 weeks.
