The French striker of Real Madrid, Karim Benzema, with two goals in the last game, became the second best scorer in the history of this Spanish giant in La Liga.

Real Madrid faced Elche in the last match of the 21st round of the Spanish Primera and won with a score of 4:0. The victory was marked with a trophy for the best player of this club, Karim Benzema.

Benzema scored two goals from the penalty spot in the first half, surpassing Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzales. Now, Benzema has 230 goals in the Primera, two more than the former Spanish striker.

However, first place is elusive. It is held by Cristiano Ronaldo with an incredible 311 goals. It is hard to believe that 35-year-old Benzema can reach 81 goals by the end of his career at the Madrid giants.

With the victory over Elche, Real narrowed the difference in points and is now eight points behind first place Barcelona.
