
A serious event shook Albanian football on Wednesday evening, when Bledar Hajdari, a Sunday League FC Dajti player, suffered a heart attack and passed away.
The Albanian Football Federation itself has reacted to this shocking event, expressing condolences to Hajdar's family and loved ones.
"The Football Federation expresses its deep shock over the tragic event that occurred today during the semi-final match of the 9×9 amateur football championship "FSHF Sunday League Albania", FC Dajti-FC Lumninese at the Football House.
During the match, FC Dajti player Bledar Hajdari suffered health problems and collapsed on the field of play.
He was immediately given first aid, urgently transporting him to the Trauma Hospital with the ambulance present at the match.
Unfortunately, despite medical assistance and all efforts to bring him back to life, the footballer has passed away.
The Albanian Football Association expresses its deepest condolences to the Hajdari family and the FC Dajti team for this great loss that has shocked the entire Albanian football community.
"In these difficult moments, the Albanian Football Federation stands by the family, friends and teammates of Bledar Hajdari, sharing with them the sorrow for this untimely and difficult separation," the Federation writes.
