Salah celebrates renewal by setting a Premier League record
Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah celebrated his contract renewal with Liverpool in the best possible way.

The Egyptian striker has set a Premier League record. Salah assisted Luis Diaz's goal against West Ham and is now the player with the most goals in the English championship.

He has been involved in 45 goals, scoring 28 times and providing 17 assists.

Thus he surpasses Haaland, who recorded 44 goals and assists two years ago, but also a legend like Thierry Henry, who in the 2003-2004 season, recorded 44 goals and assists.

Sala has now become the player with the most goals and assists in a single season, and he has time to further improve on the record.

We recall that the striker renewed his contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2027.
