Enkelejd Alibeaj reacted after today's meeting with his parliamentary group, where the 2023 local elections were discussed. According to Alibeaj, all deputies at the meeting unanimously agreed that the opposition should come up with a single candidate.

They have changed their position 180 degrees, where they are now ready to discuss with the DP of Berisha and with every opposition factor to come up with a single candidate. The deputies of Alibeaj have appointed the deputy Gazment Bardhi as a negotiator to negotiate with the other parties.

"After the discussions in the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, the deputies unanimously expressed their full and sincere will to find the right forms of cooperation for the local elections, starting with the entire Democratic Party and with every opposition factor.

In the assessment of the DP Parliamentary Group, the only solution to face the regime of Edi Rama in the local elections is to unite every opposition voice and face a single candidate of the DP and the opposition in the elections.
