Today, Prime Minister Edi Rama held a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodomyr Zelensky, where they discussed a number of issues, including the "Peace Formula" discussed during the forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Zelensky says that Ukraine is interested in expanding cooperation with Albania, including the possibility of training Ukrainian soldiers with the participation of our country.

Zelensky's message:

I spoke with Prime Minister Edi Rama to thank him for Albania's firm stance against Russian aggression against Ukraine and the support for our country in the UNSC, as well as defense and political support.

The Albanian representative participated in the fourth meeting of the Peace Formula in Davos. Our current task is to prepare for the Global Peace Summit and we count on the active participation of our partners, including Albania.

We also discussed ways to deepen the Ukraine-Balkan dialogue and advance our defense cooperation. I also emphasized the importance of continuing and expanding the training programs of Ukrainian soldiers with the participation of Albania.
