Yuri Kim meeting for an hour at the Prime Minister's Office with Rama,

US Ambassador Yuri Kim held a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office today with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister Niko Peleshi and General Arben Kingji.

In a post on Twitter, she published that the reason for this visit was the partnership and cooperation between Albania and the USA in military training and equipment.

" We look forward to working closely with Albania in 2023 to ensure that US training and equipment support meets Albania's needs as well as NATO's capability and interoperability requirements. We also look forward to DefenderEurope2023 . We are proud that we are always side by side.

Thank you to Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi and Chief of Defense General Kingji for a productive meeting this morning to review the historic progress to strengthen Albania-US cooperation. 2022 marks the year of the first permanent US military presence in Albania," the ambassador wrote on Twitter.
