Bargain between Ahmetaj and the opposition? Meta, Kryemadhi and Basha are silent
Ahmetaj, Basha, Meta, Kryemadhi

Ilir Meta, Monika Kryemadhi, Lulzim Basha and most of the opposition MPs have been silent for days regarding the media's denunciations, how the former minister Arben Ahmetaj slept in hotels paid for by the wanted citizen Klodian Zoto and how SPAK prosecutors hid the evidence and have diverted the investigations.

The only one who has spoken about Ahmetaj's involvement with Zoto's hotel bills is Sali Berisha, but he too has been content with just one statement to the media. Part of the silence is also some so-called opposition media, which have not reflected any of Ahmetaj's hotel bills.

But why do Albanians need the opposition, when it does not at least serve the interests of the citizens and raises suspicions about bargains with segments of the government, as is the case of Ahmetaj. The latest denunciations clearly point to a scenario of cooperation between Arben Ahmetaj and Ilir Meta for denunciation of the incinerators issue. The silence of Meta, his wife Monika Kryemadhi and all MPs of the Freedom Party is clearly a message that Ahmetaj is their man. Even, in the statements of Kryemadh, it was said that Ahmetaj was immaculate in the matter of incinerators:

"Mr. Ahmetaj refuses again, returns a letter for the third time to the Ministry of Environment, on January 23, with letter 13188/3. The Ministry of Finance, after examining the visibility study, responds to the Ministry of Environment, successively highlighting the problems related to this concession. But, as the Minister of Finance, I cannot accept such a contract, because there are some flagrant violations".

This raised doubts in the public opinion that the incinerator file was prepared by Ahmetaj and handed over to LSI, with the pact that he would escape from these scandals that have been published in recent days. The bargain between Ahmetaj and Meta was sealed when in the LSI's report to SPAK about the incinerators, the entire dome of the state was placed, but the former Minister of Finance, the key person in the incinerators case, was left out. Part of the silence is also Lulzim Basha, who set up a special investigative commission, but today he has not made any status on this sensitive issue, except for some personal trips he has made to the United States.

It is not known if the two SPAK prosecutors, Klodian Braho and Ened Nakuçi, were part of this collaboration, but the arrest of two former LSI officials, Lefter Kokës and Alqi Bllakos and a dozen second-level people, and the diversion of investigations for Ahmetaj, it raises strong doubts that this was a political game of the Socialist Movement for Integration.

These selective denunciations and the silence about major scandals, such as in the case of Ahmetaj or the denunciations of road concessions, clearly show that the opposition serves personal interests./TCH
