The member of the Presidency of the DP, Eno Bozdo, in a statement to the media, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of forgiving the wealth of the Albanians, the Port of Durrës, to Alabbar.

-Why was it negotiated directly with Alabbar without opening the competition? Why is the construction land given to Alabbari for 1 euro, while the competition should be opened for the Port of Durrës. Which standard should we trust?, he said.

Among other things, Bozdo emphasized that the Alabbar construction project is the biggest theft of public property.

As you heard, the government has decided on two important issues that are being debated a lot today:

First, only the first phase of the construction of the new Port of Durrës will cost 390 million euros and its construction will be done by the winner of an international competition;

Second, the financing mechanism will again be a public-private partnership, or otherwise PPP;

But let's look at these issues more closely:

The government has decided to open the international competition for a project that costs 390 million euros, after having drawn up together with the international consultant, all the relevant studies.

The questions we raise today are:

Why was this scheme not implemented with the construction project of apartments, hotels and the marina, that is, in the Alabar project that costs 2 billion euros?

Why, the competition that Deputy Prime Minister Balluku considers necessary, was not applied in the case of the Alabar project?

Why was it negotiated directly with Alabar, without opening the competition and setting specific criteria?

Why 80 to 150 ha are given without competition to Alabar to build and win?

Why is Alabari forgiven 150 million euros in taxes?

Why is the construction land given for 1 euro, while for the new Port of Durrës the competition was opened?

Why wasn't an international consultant hired to prepare an international project and the whole project to be tendered internationally?

Which standard should we believe: what the government presents before the ambassadors, or what Rama implements with his friend Alabar?

The truth is that embarrassed in front of the public opinion about the affair of the constructions in the existing port, Rama and his government promises an international competition before the ambassadors! He does this because he is busy stealing Durrës and his Port.

The "Alabar" construction project is the biggest theft of public property, the most corrupt and arrogant corruption that this government has ever done.

Rama chose not to open the competition because Alabar is his friend and client, and Rama gives his friend, certainly not just in the name of kindness, the most strategic property of the Albanian state, the current Port of Durrës.

Even doing this, he has the courage of the shameless when he sells it to the Durrsaks and Albanians as "development and economy". The truth is that he has just stolen the most valuable asset from Durrës and the whole of Albania, and he did it only for his own benefit.

He did this in flagrant violation of the Constitution and SAA, while yesterday he promised the ambassadors the rules of the game and fair competition. This is Edi Rama, with a seemingly European face for the internationals, and a real Enveri face for the Albanians.

Secondly, the government just confirmed the fact that the new port will also be built with a concession: According to the government, 54% of the financing will be covered by the construction company. This, according to the government, "...will not burden the state budget because it will be paid by the Port Authority of Durrës..."

54% of a 390 million euro investment is 210 million euro. If we consider that the annual profit of "Porti Durrës sha" is about 2 million euros per year, it is understood that it will take more than 100 years to repay this investment.

No business scheme can stand up to this government's math. Therefore, this is a pure fraud, to sell the public opinion the next fraudulent PPP. And he does this on the very day when the IMF mission declared that PPPs, which have reached 40% of GDP, are the biggest risk for the Albanian economy and that the current government has not done anything to solve this issue.

The conclusion is that Rama has decided to steal Albania and the Albanians twice: the first through the "Alabar" project, which has begun to sell the unbuilt apartments in the air, and the second through another PPP with which the Port will be built the young man of Durrës.

Albanians will pay the lek, regardless of whether they are left or right. The destruction of Albania is happening equally, for the left and the right. The departure of the Albanians and the emptying of the country has affected everyone, left and right. The only one who wins is Edi Rama, who is neither left nor right, but Albania's number one danger.
