The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, has asked for an interpellation with the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, about security in the country.

Salianji started his speech in the Assembly with the incident that happened in Dropull, where two elderly people were found dead, who, according to the police, were raped.

Salianji raised the concern that the police have not provided any further details about the case.

Salianji emphasizes that thefts, robberies and the lack of public security have turned into horrors for citizens.

"The death of two elderly people in Dropull. Police say because of the violence against them. Thefts, robberies and the lack of public security have turned into horrors for citizens. For years, the crime situation in Albania is serious. The Ministry of Defense seems to be powerless to react to every case", said Salianji.
