Ilir Meta, now president of the Freedom Party, has presented his "5 priorities" program, where he also touched on nepotism. According to Meta, he will eradicate nepotism in the administration within 24 hours.

"We are eradicating nepotism as a phenomenon in the Freedom Party. In 24 hours we will eradicate it in the state administration. 500 nepotism in taxes and customs, husband and wife, brother and sister, mother-in-law and mother-in-law. It is normal that there is no way to be the level of income, where the law and democracy do not rule. We will achieve it by building a fair fiscal system, without differentiations and exceptions, which have no economic impact. Let's not go to justice that there are only 7 family members in one prosecutor's office. The eradication of nepotism in customs and taxes means an additional 3.3 billion euros in a year. Albania and the Albanians will benefit from the honest administration of the economy. With an additional 3.3 billion euros per year and 4 years, it goes to 13.2 billion euros, which is as much as the debt that Albania has", said Meta.

He added that the priority for the Freedom Party is investment in education and human capital.

"We don't have time to rest, we don't have time to get rusty. We will win and we will do it with work. Today, our country has the lowest salaries and pensions in the region. The renaissance has increased the debt burden. The public debt increases to 13.2 billion euros. Each resident, even a newborn, has a debt of 4611 euros. Korça apples are cheaper in Pristina than in Tirana. Priority for the Freedom Party is investment in education and human capital. We will build a fair fiscal system", he added.
