The first reactions of political actors in the country have come after the meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama with Italian Albanians in Milan.

During his speech, Rama spoke about "some mouths" that talk about the "narco-state and the exodus of Albanians in these 10 years," calling the statements untrue and malicious.

However, the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, responded as follows:

"Only the Pelasgians and the Illyrians remained unblamed for the corruption of Edi Rama's government, for the failures, for the unfulfilled promises, for the depopulation and denial of the rights of those who were displaced during his government from their homeland."

In a post made on Facebook, Basha accused his political opponent of trying to "steal" the success of Albanians in the snow, "to cover his corrupt power."

The vote of the diaspora, says Basha, is a constitutional duty and a debt to our compatriots.
