In a statement to the media, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the situation in the north of Kosovo. The head of the Albanian government requested that the EU and the Euro-Atlantic community intervene to implement the Franco-German plan. Rama said that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue meetings have nothing more to offer, a peace conference is needed.
The format of the dialogue should be set up as a conference with the Franco-German plan, while the representation of the EU and the Euro-Atlantic community in the dialogue should also be set up at the highest level, with France and Germany at the level of the president and the chancellor as co-authors of this the plan.
At a minimum, the current format of Brussels, where two men enter and exit here and there, has nothing to offer peace in this new situation, I believe this is at least clear. On the other hand, I want to emphasize that things can go far and much faster than you can think on a day like this where nothing happens that is only what it seems, therefore not only the level of representation of the Euro-Atlantic community must be raised and it should be raised quickly, but it should be taken into account that this should be done, otherwise, together with the stock of all those agreements formed some orally and some unimplemented, the delay may also bring a stock of victims of an armed conflict.' - said Rama.
