During his podcast, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that he is one of the people who knows our country best, after revealing for the first time that he has traveled 1.6 million kilometers in Albania.

Rama said that he holds first place for knowing the country and its problems, or the way people experience things.

Regarding the protest, the head of government expressed that he is proud of it, while not leaving his political rivals unscathed, saying that he has experienced loss of life taken from the windows of the Prime Minister's Office building.

Rama : A bodyguard tells me about the car's performance, that it has covered 500 thousand km in this entire period. Then he brings me the documents and tells me that it is not 500 thousand km in total.

I said: “How much have we done in total?” He brought me all of my journey. 1.6 million kilometers of my journey in Albania.

Traveling 1.6 million kilometers across Albania as the leader of the opposition and the government means having a deep knowledge of Albania.

So, at this point, when it comes to getting to know Albania and its reality, the people and what they feel, how they experience things, I don't give the person first place.

First, I am proud of those scenes and of this protest, because I was a protester on that boulevard. On that boulevard, I witnessed the loss of lives taken from the windows of this building.

And I know very well what protest means. I have seen disabled people being taken to task and mistreated from the other side of the building when they approached the counter to complain.
