Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that the fiscal amnesty announced by the government is an initiative that will go to the parliament, but with a draft that will also have preliminary approval from the international community.
"To international friends, international partners, international cynics, when they give their mouths without any embarrassment by putting them all in one bag and treating our constitutional effort, to legalize 30 years of blood, sweat savings, as a dubious attempt to help , facilitated, cleaned the proceeds of crime. A scandal. But we will move forward, because this is the right and right thing, " said Rama.
" How many Albanians have gone to Great Britain, under a different name, as refugees from the war in Kosovo because they were in trouble and wanted a solution. How many years have they worked like that? Where will they take their savings? Of working without hours, in the dark, that Albanians did not invent, but those who seek it and pay for it. Well, if we don't let them on the street, we don't leave them".
"We will do all that is necessary, we will also do the amnesty, for which we want to have a draft that is as agreed as possible with our friends and partners, because it is not something that we want to do in a conflicting way, as a sign of nobody, but we have to do it for our people".
