DP requests the Assembly: To determine the recognition of only two genders!

The Democratic Party has come out against changes to the law on gender equality and has filed a draft law in Parliament to recognize only two genders in Albania, female and male.

Through a post on social media, MP Tritan Shehu emphasizes that the majority's initiative to amend the law on gender equality by recognizing other genders, according to him, undermines the essence of life and society.

"We are facing an insidious attempt by Rama & Co., who, through a law on "gender equality" introduced in Parliament, seek to "blow up" the essence of life, society, family, the concept of the two sexes, male and female," he writes.

According to Shehu, the law of rebirth leads to the recognition of dozens of genders by introducing the concepts of LGBT, trans, gay, etc., which deliberately confuse gender with sexual orientation, in order to strike at the foundations of society and family.

Among other things, he lists that the rebirth law paves the way for the term "multiple gender and affiliation", multiple identities, such as non-binary, transgender, gender fluid, endangers children as it legalizes destructive "gender" policies and attacks the concepts of "man", "woman", "mother" and "father".

The Shehu's response:

Human society, its existence, the family, which is based on the two genders, Male and Female, are seriously endangered!

Today, the DP parliamentary group submitted to the Presidency of the Assembly again the draft law:

"For an addition to law no. 10129, dated 11.5.2009, on civil status, as amended".

This legislative initiative aims to clearly and unequivocally define that in Albania only two genders are recognized, Male and Female, determined at birth.

I emphasize that this request was submitted for the first time in January, but since it contradicts the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure, it was not included in the proceedings of the Assembly by the majority.

It is now being repeated, taking on a special importance.

Because we are currently facing an insidious attempt by Rama & Co., who, through a law on "gender equality" brought to Parliament, seek to "throw to the wind" the essence of Life, Society, Family, the concept of the two genders, Male and Female.

That Renaissance law leads to the recognition of dozens of genders by:

1-Introducing the concepts of LGBT, trans, gay, etc., which deliberately confuse gender with sexual orientation, to strike at the foundations of society and the family.

2- It paved the way for the term "gender and multiple affiliation" to attack the vital concept of society of every species, male and female.

3-Thus, transitioning to multiple identities, such as non-binary, transgender, gender fluid, etc., as part of the homo, trans, "woke" society, etc.!

4-Children are also at risk because it legalizes destructive "gender" policies, which are now being demanded to be introduced into schools by LGBT groups, etc.

5-Thus, the concept of a Man and a Woman in the family was struck down, to go to gay, trans, fluid families, etc.

6-Eliminate the sacred names Mother and Father and replace them with the numerical expressions Parent 1,2,3...

Albanian society, its values, our family, our children, are facing a diabolical attempt by this Renaissance...

That must be stopped for the good of all.

The draft law submitted by us today blocks this destruction of values!
