DP files criminal complaint with SPAK against Rama, presents the book "Albanian Files" as evidence

The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group has filed a criminal complaint with SPAK against Prime Minister Edi Rama, requesting the initiation of a criminal investigation for several acts that, according to the opposition, are related to the financing of the artist Kanye West's concert from the state reserve fund.

In the document, the DP also refers to the book “ The Albanian Files-Freedom and Architecture ”, edited by Anneke Abhelakh, as one of the sources that, according to it, is related to the issue subject to the complaint.

The criminal complaint was signed by the chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, and was filed with SPAK yesterday.

It now remains for the Special Prosecution Office to review the filed material and decide whether to register criminal proceedings and initiate investigations.

Up to this stage, these are allegations raised by the complainant, which do not constitute proof of guilt and do not imply criminal liability for the persons reported without a decision by the judicial authorities.
