Former DP candidate for deputy in the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025, Ilirjana Kuçana , calls for the regeneration of the blue headquarters with new and representative figures and the removal of old names.

She has requested that the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, withdraw from the race and pave the way for a new figure within the party's renewal process, following the example of another MP.

Kuçana said that Noka should follow the example of Edi Paloka, who according to her gave up the race to give way to a new candidacy.

"Now is the time for Mr. Noka to open his own arm, just as Mr. Paloka did, and say: 'We must pave the way for someone who has not been tested in the position of Secretary General, to fulfill that strong message that we want to convey to democrats and Albanians: renewal,'" declared Kuçana.

She emphasized that in the Democratic Party there are figures with integrity and political experience who can take on new responsibilities.

"There are people full of political fiber, with integrity, people who know and love the Democratic Party. This is the moment for Mr. Noka to come out and withdraw himself from the race," said the former candidate for deputy, also a teacher, member of the DP and leader of the structures.
