After the session last Thursday where the new government received a vote of confidence in just 25 minutes due to the chaos created by the opposition, the Parliament convened again this Wednesday.
The agenda includes a vote on the composition of the chairmen and members of the parliamentary committees. This session also began with debates, after the Democratic Party opposed the voting on the minutes.
Tabaku: It is the first time, Mr. Speaker, that the government program has been passed without discussion. I do not believe that we can leave Albanians in the shade for the government program. This is related to the minutes but it is a procedural request. I do not believe that you want to keep this stain, Mr. Speaker. I understand that there is no vision, but you cannot deny the opposition the right to have a parliamentary debate. You cannot take away our right to speak and you cannot violate the rules of procedure.
Peleshi: The point is about correcting or clarifying an opinion. Let's move on to the announcements.
Këlliçi: You cannot pass this session as if everything is normal, as if there is normal functioning here. Those minutes do not reflect the situation that occurred last week in the session at all. You can also go back to the footage, when you announced a 5-minute break announcing that the leader of the DP group would take the floor. Instead, you gave him the floor. In just 25 minutes of discussion, not even the opposition's word was heard. This is a stain of shame for this Assembly and for you as the speaker.
