Albania opened negotiations with the EU for the last chapter. Commissioner Marta Kosi praised the work done by our country, saying that it is the result of the authorities' work to implement reforms.

Kos said that the EU is committed to integrating Albania into the EU.

"Dear Edi, you are the leader who sees the future. We need partners we can rely on and Albania is one of them.

Today is a special day not only for Albania, which opens all chapters, but also for the EU. Today shows that the EU delivers results and we can rely on Albania.

This success would not have been possible without the commitment of Albania and the support of all member states to support Albania. We are committed to bringing Albania into the EU. The success is Albania's, the result of the work of the authorities to implement important reforms.

It is the result of Albanian citizens demanding change and supporting these changes. Albania is the best example of the transformative power of enlargement, when you deliver results, you move forward, you are an inspiration for the Western Balkans.

"Opening all the chapters is a success, but closing them is the real prize. Real success is how quickly you adopt and implement real legislation," Kos said.
